Condition: Dry or rough skin in need of moisture, especially on tougher areas such as the elbows, knees and feet.
Solution: Natural Shea Butter has a rich, luxurious texture that penetrates deep to condition and moisturize every type of skin. Shea Butter is derived from the tree nuts of the karite trees that grow in Western and Central Africa. It is a wonderful emollient that's perfect for daily use. Can also be used as a scalp moisturizer.

Suggested Use

Gently apply as desired, paying close attention to dry or rough areas, reapply as needed.
This product is naturally hard and color/texture will vary depending on temperature. This product will melt when warmed above body temperature and become solid again when cool. This is natural and may affect the appearance, but will not harm the quality of the product. This warming and cooling may produce fat crystals affecting the color/texture making it appear grainy or uneven. If hard, shea butter can be softened by placing in a pan of hot water (e.g. 100 F or warmer) for 30 minutes or microwaved until soft.

Warnings

Caution for Microwaving: This jar contains a foil seal. Do not place this jar directly in microwave. Before microwaving, scoop out desired amount and place in a microwave-safe container. Allow time to cool before applying.

i stopped using shea butter a few years back because it was TOO stiff removing it from the tin and difficult to smooth on large areas of skin. this whipped version is much easier to spread on my arms.( it is the difference between stick butter and the whipped kind you get at the restaurant. Still butter just easier to spread on bread) also, make no mistake, this whipped shea butter keeps a firm shape in the container and YES it smells exactly as shea butter should. no problems with grit of any kind. im glad i can start using shea butter again :o)

Smells wonderful mixed with Coconut when I am making my home made body butter....Just Add my now Grapeseed oil, Sweet Almond oil, Avocado oil and Gylcerin to make my skin soft, smooth and glow like a model!

My 13 year old son who has excema has been using this shea butter for over a year now. He uses it every day for his dry skin and will not use anything else. I love the fact that this product is 100% natural.

I love this product! It´s a great moisturizer but for gods sake do NOT use this on your face! You will break out the next day. Anywhere else on the body this is perfect, I guess this is gold worth during the winter!

I READ UNREFINE IS WAY BETTER THAN REFINE SHEA BUTTER BECAUSE OF IT'S HEALING PROPERTIES, SO WAS A LITTLE HESITATED TO ORDER THIS BUT GOOD THING I DID. I USE THIS ON MY HAIR AND I NOTICED A HUGE DIFFENCE AFTER ONE USE. I WILL ORDER AGAIN FROM IHERB!!

this is an amazing product! i had a serios case of ingrown hair on my legs and i read somewhere that shea butter can help so i tried this one....it really works! + ideal for dry skin and scars
